General Sales Conditions
RESERVATION AND CANCELLATION CONDITIONS
Any client agrees that he has the capacity to enter into contracts on the terms described in the sale terms below, i.e. that he is an adult and is not under guardianship. Any client agrees that he has read these terms of sale before placing his order. As a result, placing the order implies his full acceptance of the general and special terms of sale of Château et Perspectives de Bourron and his unreserved acceptance of all the provisions therein.
These general conditions of sale apply except special conditions specified in the proposal made to the customer and signed by the latter. Special conditions such as exclusive rentals, weddings and seminars that are the subject of a contract and / or quote. 1-RESERVATION
Reservations must be validated by the communication of a credit card details. The credit card must be valid until the end of the booked stay.
All reservations will be subject to a pre-authorization called PLBS bank term. The pre-authorization allows us to check the validity of the card as well as your creditworthiness.
For the reservation of 2 bedrooms or a 2 nights stay, or more, the deposit of 50% of the price of the stay may be required.
All the bedrooms, as well as the whole chateau, are non-smoking. Pets are not allowed. Rooms are nominative and no additional guests are allowed without prior permission of the owner. The bedrooms are available from 3.00 pm on arrival, until 11.00 am on departure.
Should you arrive later than 7 PM, please notify the hotel at 33 (1) 64 78 39 39 in order to maintain your reservation. Reception is only open every days from 9:00 am to noon and from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm. If your arrival is not scheduled during opening hours please contact us by phone in order to make your welcome as pleasant as possible.
Breakfast is available upon request for 16 € per adult and 10€ per child under 8.
Payment due 14 days before arrival
All prices are given in euros. VAT is always included.
Taxes, especially tourist taxes, have no contractual value and can be changed without notice in response to decisions by public authorities.
N.B.: All prices are displayed in euros.
Payment terms: We accept Carte Bleue, American Express, Visa, Eurocard /Mastercard or a transfer in euros. Ask us for an excerpt R.I.B. of our banking institution, He mentions the IBAN (international bank account number) and the BIC (bank identifier code) two elements necessary for a transfer from a foreign country. It is specified that all bank charges inherent to the operation are the responsibility of the customer. Cash is accepted for payments made at the Château de Bourron. Cheques are not accepted.
Privacy act: In pursuance of Act 78 17 referred to as Privacy Act, clients are advised that their order is subjected to a computerized processing. The right to access and rectify provided for by the law can be exercised with Château et Perspectives de Bourron at its headquarters.
Personal data: The information requested when booking requests is essential for the proper processing of your request. They are for only recipients Castle Bourron.
General conditions for present theme stay: Present theme stay sold by château de Bourron must be paid in advanced. Date of coming must be fixed up with the person receiving the gift. Anyway no gift can be paid back or cancelled.
2-CANCELLATION CONDITIONS
Cancellations are only valid if notified by email, fax or mail and will be effective only when the Château de Bourron has confirmed your acceptance by mail or email. The time shown is the time zone of the institution (CEST).
In case of cancellation, if you have paid online all or part of the booking, this amount will be refunded after deduction of cancellation and booking fees if there is (exception of offers non-cancellable, non-refundable).
If your booking includes a booking fee, please note that these are not refundable.
It is advisable to cancel as soon as possible once the cause of the cancellation has occurred.
2.1. Terms of cancelation
When booking a maximum of 2 rooms and / or a stay of less than 3 nights.
Cancellation earlier than 5 days before the expected arrival date, the deposit will be refunded, less the administrative fee, if there is.
Cancellation occurs less than 5 days before the expected arrival date, 100 % of the other reserved nights will be debited, including all services purchased upon reservation.
Early departure (shortened stay) the balance of the initially reserved stay will be debited if the room remains unsold.
No-show: 100 % of the stay will be debited, including all services purchased upon reservation.
2.2. Special cases
Due to the small size of our hotel, we have 15 rooms, as part of a multi-booking, if your stay is greater than 2 nights and / or if you have booked more than two rooms.
Cancellation earlier than 30 days before the expected arrival date, the deposit will be refunded, less the administrative fee, if there is.
Should a cancellation occurs less than 30 days before the expected arrival date and more than 5 days before the expected arrival date, 50 % of the stay will be debited, including all services purchased upon reservation.
Should a cancellation occurs more than 5 days before the expected arrival date, 100 % of the stay will be debited, including all services purchased upon booking.
Confirmation of Booking: We may confirm your booking by email.
Cancellation in case of force majeure: Force majeure is to be understood as any unforeseeable and insuperable event beyond the parties’ control, preventing the client or travellers, or the agency or the service provider from performing any part of their duties under this contract. By formal, agreement, it is agreed that transportation, hotel personnel strikes, insurrection riots and governmental prohibitions are force majeure events it is agreed that force majeure events suspend the parties’ mutual duties. Specially, each party shall bear its costs resulting from force majeure : as a result, travelers will bear alone any additional cost incurred by the trip following the occurrence of the force majeure event.
Complaints: Any complaint should be sent to Château et Perspectives de Bourron by registered mail within 48 hours after the respective journey. The present contract is written according to French Law. In case of a dispute concerning the application or interpretation of the contract, both parties agree to try to come to an amiable solution. Failing this, any litigation will be submitted exclusively to the County Court of Fontainebleau.
